Video Services

KanREN's primary efforts with video service are to facilitate transport, including streaming and real-time, as well as unicast and multicast. We are available to help members with both selection of equipment and can consult on network requirements for different video implemenations. The KanREN network offers a QoS scheme for prioritizing real-time video traffic.

And while not our pirmary effort, KanREN does provide a streaming server service to all members, free of charge (see streaming link below).

Multicast Video Test

KanREN maintains a multicast video server for internal and member use. Because initial configurations for multicast can be tricky, we've set up an ongoing multicast stream (referenced below) for testing:
