KanREN maintains a multicast video server for internal and member use. Often, members with multicast would like a localized test. KanREN maintains a stream for this purpose:

Real Helix Streaming Server
Streaming Server
A Streaming Server is available to all KanREN member sites. This server uses the Helix Universal Server software from RealNetworks. This server can stream audio and video in the common Real Player, QuickTime, and Windows Media formats. This service can be used by any KanREN member site to provide live video of events, or to archive live events for later viewing.
