Donate to KANREN
As a charitable nonprofit supporting research and education networking and related projects throughout Kansas, KANREN is happy to accept unrestricted donations for any of our charitable undertakings, or donors can specify how their donation should be used. To prevent donations from becoming inadvertently "unusable," we provide a fixed list of donor intentions here on our website. If you would like to donate for another specified purpose, please Contact Us directly.
Donations to a charitable nonprofit may be tax deductible in whole or in part. KANREN will send a thank-you letter that serves as a receipt for any financial donation, but KANREN cannot provide a valuation of any in-kind donations. Please consult with your tax professional to determine whether your contribution is tax deductible.
Support the CHECK Conference
The Conference on Higher Education Computing in Kansas (CHECK) is an annual gathering of information technology professionals in post-secondary institutions in Kansas to present, discuss, and learn about new technologies and current issues in providing IT services to the higher education community. CHECK is sponsored collaboratively by the Regents Information Technology Council (RITC) and KANREN and coordinated by the CHECK Planning subcommittee. Admission is free to employees of all higher education institutions in Kansas. Hosting the event rotates among the member institutions. Learn more at http://www.checkconference.org.
The CHECK Planning Committee has defined three levels of support granting certain donor statuses: $2500 for Platinum Partner, $1500 for Gold Partner, or $750 for Silver Partner. Donors can also contribute any amount by choosing the custom amount option.
Donations using these CHECK donate buttons will have the following donor restriction placed on your contribution: "Supporting a collaborative conference for higher education computing in Kansas hosted by any Kansas public higher education institution which grants baccalaureate degrees."
Support KANREN's Workshops or Educational Programs
KANREN works both directly and in collaboration with its community anchor members to deliver Workshops and Educational Programs to advance research and education networking throughout the state. Donations of any amount using this donate button will have the following donor restriction placed on your contribution: "Supporting any of KANREN's workshops or educational programs delivered to or in collaboration with its community anchor members."
Support KANREN's Scientific Research Programs
KANREN engages with local, regional, national, and international researchers to advance both networking technologies and to support other academic and scientific research endeavors that rely on advanced networking. Donations of any amount using this donate button will have the following donor restriction placed on your contribution: "Supporting any of KANREN's scientific research programs delivered to or in collaboration with its community anchor members."
