About KanREN

KanREN is a non-profit (501(c)(3)), membership consortium of Kansas education institutions and other community anchors. Our membership includes all state universities as our key anchors members, K12 schools, community colleges, private colleges and universities, public libraries, healthcare, local and county government as well as other community anchor institutions. KanREN’s primary mission is to provide a statewide data network and associated services, education and community tailored specifically to the needs of our unique membership organizations.

The KanREN staff are a small, but dedicated group who are committed to providing premium services to our membership. KanREN offers a stellar benefits package including generous paid time off, 100% individual healthcare and life insurance premiums paid (supplemental policies and additional family members are covered under our group but require employee contribution), as well as flexible working arrangements. Professional development and educational opportunities may be paid for or subsidized when they are directly applicable to the success of our staff and consortium.
